Olomouc in Moravia (3/3): Smetana Gardens

To continue from last article, this is the last part of the three about my visit in Olomouc, Czech. Here is Chinese version.

Lunch with Pigeons

We three backed to Horni Square and had our lunch in McDonald. Finally, French fries is too much for us and then we fed the rest to pigeons on the square. It seems they really loved French fries.

Smetana Gardens
Smetana Gardens is for memorializing Czech patriot composer Bedřich Smetana (1824-1884). I think "Moldau River" should be his most famous piece. "Moldau" is a German name, and now it should be called "Vltava" in Czech name. Smetana was born in a small town near Olomouc called Litomyšl, and that's I think why there's a park here after his name.
